Naira Anwar: World Basketball Day witnesses the introduction of the symbols and history of the game in Egypt
Naira Mohamed Anwar, a member of the Board of Directors of the Basketball Federation, said that celebrating World Game Day comes in light of the Federation’s strategy to spread and raise awareness of basketball and its achievements in Egyptian sports.
Next Saturday, the Basketball Association will hold a celebration of World Game Day, at the Al-Zohour Club, in cooperation with the NBA office in Cairo.
Naira Anwar confirmed in press statements that World Basketball Day will witness the introduction of the achievements and history of Egyptian basketball, the most prominent stars of the game and many of its symbols.
The member of the Board of Directors of the Basketball Association praised the great cooperation with the American Basketball Association office in Egypt, stressing that the office plays a major role in developing the game in Egypt since its establishment in cooperation with the Egyptian Federation, and has now had a clear impact on Egyptian basketball.
