"Human rights in parliament": "Medical liability" Achieves a balance between the provider and recipient of the service

The Human Rights Committee of the House of Representatives stressed the importance of the draft law on medical responsibility and patient care, which was approved by the Senate, in achieving a balance between rights and duties. 

 

It noted&nbsp The new legislation has been long awaited for years, especially since there are many foreign and Arab countries that preceded us in preparing laws to control the relationship of responsibility.  

 

Amal Salama, a member of the Human Rights Committee in the House of Representatives, said: The Medical Liability Law works to protect health facilities from any attack and achieves the preservation of service providers, as it is at the same time Time guarantees the patient’s right to obtain his rights when any medical errors occur.

 

The member of the House of Representatives explained that the existence of a medical liability law is an important step, especially since it was a priority on the legislative agenda. to the government, In addition, it contributes to reducing abuses that occur due to receiving therapeutic services.
