Minister of Finance: Enhancing the competition climate achieves balance in the Egyptian economy

pointed out that the competition support efforts began to bear fruit in the indicators of the first half of the current fiscal year, where the private sector acquires about 60% of the total investments within 6 months with a growth rate of 80%, and we have 10 investment projects in the system of participation with the private sector during the current fiscal year. 6 months growth at a rate of 13.1%, and manufacturing industries by 12.4% and communications and information technology at a rate of 15.1%, noting that the economic growth rate increased from 2.5% to 3.9% during the period (July – December) for the year 2024, stressing the continued expansion of the role of the private sector in economic activity with more motivating initiatives for production and export.
