Put out the fire
According to the statement issued by the Fire Department, 120 firefighters were deployed to the scene, where they worked until the night to extinguish the fire, and in the meantime, remove the metal facade of the bell tower.
It was reported that the police closed the streets surrounding the place during the operation.
The fire department said that some residents had been moved to a different area of the building that was not affected by the fire, and also to a nearby building belonging to the Technical University of Munich.
The injured were taken to the hospital because they inhaled light smoke resulting from the fire.
