Ras Al Khaimah Chamber and the Pakistani Consulate discuss developing intra-regional trade

Ras Al Khaimah, December 25 / WAM / His Excellency Mohammed Musabah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, discussed with Ali Zeb Khan, Trade and Investment Advisor at the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai, ways to develop the volume of bilateral trade and increase mutual investment opportunities in all sectors of interest to both sides.

During the meeting held at the Chamber’s headquarters, Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of the meeting to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation between the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and Pakistan, and to monitor investment opportunities available to both parties in support of achieving the strategic goals of the “Ras Al Khaimah Chamber” aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the emirate and attracting investment to it, pointing out To a set of advantages and facilities that it provides to business owners and investors, and the opportunities it provides in the sectors of industry, trade, tourism, building and construction, real estate, health, and services.

The Pakistani trade and investment advisor was briefed on the most prominent exhibitions and events organized by the Chamber and the opportunities for the Pakistani side to participate in them, reviewing opportunities for cooperation in many sectors, and ways to benefit from modern technologies and renewable energy.

The meeting, which was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al Shamili, Acting Director General of the Chamber, recommended holding forums and opening direct channels between business owners and specialists from government agencies from Ras Al Khaimah and Pakistan, to learn about best practices and discuss partnership and cooperation.

The Commercial and Investment Advisor at the Pakistani Consulate praised the diversity of investment opportunities provided by the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and its provision of an environment that facilitates doing business. He provided an overview of the opportunities available in his country in many sectors, stressing the importance of exhibitions as channels for increasing cooperation and developing the volume of trade between the two sides.
