المملكة: “Passports”… 30 days is a minimum period for the validity of a resident’s ID to issue a final exit visa

The General Directorate of Passports confirmed the requirement of (30) days as a minimum for the validity of a resident’s identity when requesting the issuance of a final exit visa for residents.
It called on the employer and the head of the family before issuing a final exit visa to take into account that if the validity of a resident’s identity is less than (30) days, the final exit visa cannot be issued, and it must be renewed to issue a final exit visa.

Issuing a final exit visa

She indicated that if the validity of a resident’s ID is more than (30) days and less than (60) days, a final exit visa can be issued and its duration will be the remaining period of validity of a resident’s ID. However, if the validity of a resident’s ID is (60) days or more, A final exit visa can be issued for a period of (60) days only.
The Passport Department noted that the employer and the head of the family can issue final exit visas to their sponsors and their family members through the Ministry of Interior’s electronic services platform “Absher, Absher Business” and the Muqeem portal, and that this service is free and can be implemented without fees.
