"UAE businesswomen" Participates in the Global Forum in Bahrain

DUBAI, 13 JANUARY / WAM / The Emirates Business Women Council participates in the “International Forum and Exhibition for Business Women”, organized by the Bahrain Business Women Association on the occasion of the association’s silver jubilee, and held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King of Bahrain and President The Supreme Council for Women, during the period from 12 to 15 January.
Engineer Farida Abdullah Al Awadhi, President of the Emirates Businesswomen’s Council, expressed her pride in participating in this important event, stressing that the forum constitutes a distinguished platform for exchanging experiences and visions between businesswomen from different countries of the world.
She said that the Council’s participation in the forum confirms its commitment to strengthening cooperation with its counterparts in Arab and international countries, with the aim of empowering women in the field of entrepreneurship and supporting them economically at the regional and global levels.
Al-Awadhi added that the forum represents an ideal opportunity to communicate and exchange experiences between businesswomen in the Gulf region and the world, noting that the Council seeks through this event to strengthen partnerships and cooperation with other councils to support women’s leadership in various fields, and that it attaches great importance to enhancing the position of women in the economy.
