المملكة: Targeting 35,000 scholarship students… launching the “Researchers in Serving the Guests of God” award

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the launch of the “Researchers in the Service of the Guests of God” award, within the framework of the activities of the Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition, with the aim of supporting innovation and stimulating national competencies to develop the Hajj and Umrah system.
The award targets more than 35,000 Saudi scholarship students around the world, to contribute to improving the services provided to the pilgrims through creative ideas and projects.
The award focuses on three main axes, including: facilitating the performance of rituals, crowd management and pilgrim safety, and developing logistical and health services, with an emphasis on sustainability, health and safety, and digital communication.
The award goes through several stages, starting with the launch of the initiative in January 2025, then receiving and evaluating projects until August 2025, followed by the announcement of the winners in October 2025, and concluding with the honoring ceremony in November 2025.
This award comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by empowering national competencies and enhancing their role in improving Hajj and Umrah services, in a way that reflects the aspirations of the wise leadership towards serving the guests of God with the highest levels of quality and excellence.
