China urges the United States to immediately stop its malicious cyber attacks
Guo Jiaqun, spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said today, Friday, that his country urged the American side to immediately stop cyber attacks against the country and stop the theft of commercial and intellectual property.
The Chinese news agency “Xinhua” reported The spokesman’s statements came at a daily press conference in response to a report issued by the “National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center in China.” On the same day.
The report revealed details of cyber attacks carried out by American intelligence agencies against a Chinese research institute specializing in the design of advanced materials and one of the major companies in the field of smart energy and digital information, according to the National Technical Team for Computer Network Emergency Response/ Coordination center in China. “I have taken note of the report in question,” Guo said, adding that the report once again revealed those malicious cyber attacks against China, which were launched by the US government. He explained that China expresses its deep concern about this matter and urges the American side to immediately stop the relevant malicious activities, noting that China will take the necessary measures to protect its electronic security and interests. The spokesman emphasized that cyberspace is related to national security and economic prosperity for all countries, noting that the United States must think for itself, stop political distortion, abide by the same international rules responsibly, and work with the international community to protect peace and security in cyberspace.
