Under the auspices of Ammar Al -Nuaimi … the opening of the Asian Bodybuilding Championship 2025
Ajman, June 15 / WAM / under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, the activities of the fifty -eighth edition of the Asian Championship for Body Building and Physical Fitness 2025 organized by the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman for the first time in the Emirates Hospitality Center, with the participation of 350 players from 23 countries.
The opening ceremony was attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Head of the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman, His Excellency Rafael Santonach, President of the International Federation for Bodybuilding and Fitness, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Federation for Building and Fitness, and His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director General of the Tourism Development Department in Ajman, along with a number of representatives of Asian federations.
The ceremony started with a heritage artistic show that carried the imprint of the cultural emirate of Ajman, followed by the review of the official championship logo and its amulet, in a festive atmosphere that brought together originality and professionalism.
Mahmoud Al -Hashemi, Director General of Tourism Development, in a statement to Emirates News Agency “WAM”, expressed the pride of Ajman to host this great sporting event, stressing that the emirate has harnessed all its logistical and organizational capabilities to ensure the success of the tournament, which will continue until June 17.
“We are proud to see Ajman, the focus of attention of the sports world, and we believe that this tournament will contribute to the consolidation of the emirate’s position as a leading destination for sports tourism.”
For his part, Raphael Santoncha praised the distinguished organization and great official support, considering that Ajman has become a role model for hosting international championships, stressing his confidence in the success of the tournament organizationally and technically.
Sheikh Abdullah Al -Sharqi noted the great size of the Asian participation, stressing that the tournament represents an opportunity to enhance the UAE continental presence, and refine the capabilities of the national team players in the face of the AFC Champions elite.
Adnan Al -Balushi, who participates in the classic Body Balding category, expressed his pride in representing the state in this Asian event, amid great participation and participation from different countries of the continent.
