Palestinian NGOs: We are making great efforts to contain the repercussions of the aggression on Gaza

 Director of the Network of Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations, Amjad Shawa, confirmed that there are great efforts being made to contain the repercussions of the Israeli aggression on all sectors in Gaza, indicating the intensification of work to improve the health system and provide all medical supplies to save the lives of the sick and injured. 

 

Al-Shawwa said, in an intervention to the Nile Satellite News Channel, “We have been making efforts since the beginning The entry into force of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza led to great efforts to provide all the basic and urgent needs of the Palestinian people to alleviate the suffering that has continued for more than 15 months in the context of using starvation as a weapon of war, obstructing the delivery of aid and deliberately destroying homes and health centers, which led to the spread of famine, diseases and epidemics. In addition, most hospitals were out of service.” 

He pointed to the massive destruction that occurred in all Gaza sectors as a result of the aggression. The Israeli government stressed the need for concerted efforts to provide adequate shelter for the people of the northern Gaza Strip, especially after the destruction of more than 70% of their homes.
