The Lebanese President: Our country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are non-negotiable
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stressed that Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are not subject to negotiation, stressing that he will follow up on this issue at the highest levels to guarantee the rights and dignity of the people of the south.
The Lebanese President said – in his speech to the people of southern Lebanon, today Sunday, according to the Lebanese News Agency – “This is a day of victory for Lebanon and the Lebanese, a victory for rights, sovereignty and national unity… We share in the joy of our people in the south.” The victory of truth, and I call on them to exercise self-restraint and trust in the Lebanese Armed Forces, which are keen to protect our sovereignty and security and secure your safe return to your homes and towns.”
Aoun added, “Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are non-negotiable, and I am following this issue at the highest levels.” To guarantee your rights and dignity.” He continued, saying, “The Lebanese army is always with you.. and will remain committed to protecting you and preserving Your security…together we will remain stronger, united under the banner of Lebanon.”
