Batelco expands its mobile network in the Kingdom of Bahrain in cooperation with Ericsson

• The expansion will enhance the coverage and capabilities of Batelco networks for the fourth and fifth generation throughout Bahrain.

Batelco, one of Beyon, has announced the expansion of the broader mobile phone network in cooperation with Ericsson (listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange under the symbol: Eric), with the aim of enhancing the capabilities of the fourth and fifth generation networks and improving network coverage and increasing its capacity throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain. This cooperation reflects the continuous commitment of the two companies to provide advanced digital services to consumers and companies, which ensures a reinforced communication experience for users.
In the context of this expansion, ICCO has published the latest radio access network (RAN) from Ericsson, and modernized its basic network from Erikson, with the addition of expansion in ability to keep pace with the continuous growth in the movement of sound and data.
By integrating Erikson’s innovative and energy -saving solutions, Batelco will be able to reduce the required space for network systems and reduce the pressure on communications towers. Thanks to these solutions, the company is expected to be able to reduce energy consumption by up to 20%, while enhancing the general performance of the network.
Inco has also updated the Ericsson mediation platform to the latest cloud technologies, which was designed to improve operational efficiency and meet the increasing data requirements by consumers, and the improved capabilities of the mediation of this platform supports a variety of applications, including the Internet of Things and cases of using the independent fifth generation network, including It allows flexibility and expansion to provide a long -term reliable and sustainable network services.
