The French and Chadian armed forces announced today, Thursday, that France has completed the withdrawal of its forces from Chad after the termination of a military cooperation agreement with it, with the exit of about a thousand French soldiers who were in Chad until recently.
The General Staff of the Chadian Army reported before an official ceremony planned to be held tomorrow, Friday, that the last base in the capital, Najamina, was delivered, which represents a decisive end of the French military presence in Chad.

Transfer
All military forces and equipment were transferred to France, according to the newspaper “Le Monde” from the French General Staff.
Since the previous French colony had become independent in 1960, French military aircraft were constantly stationed in Chad, and they have not only used training, but also to address the coup attempts as well.
