4 killing .. a US Army plane crashed in the southern Philippines
The Civil Aviation Authority in the Philippines confirmed the crash of a light plane in the Maggundana Del Sur region, without disclosing more details.
A spokesman for the American embassy, Kanishka Gangopadaia, told the Associated Press that the US military was contracted on the plane that crashed in the southern region in the country.

She added that there were 142 passengers on the Delta No. 1921 flight to Puerto Valreta, Mexico, and they were transported to a new plane.
There were no reports of injuries to the crew or passengers.
