Health control concludes the training program for a certificate "A specialist to qualify health facilities for accreditation"

The General Authority for Accreditation and Health Supervision, headed by Dr. Ahmed Taha, announced the conclusion of the qualifying supplementary program to test a certificate & quot; In its third session, which lasted for 8 weeks at the headquarters of the Authority’s training center in Nasr City.

& nbsp; After the trainees finished their studies for eight units in the partner universities of the Accreditation and Health Control Authority in which hospital accreditation standards are taught.
& nbsp; Quality culture within primary care centers and units, as it is the backbone of the success of the application of the comprehensive health insurance system because of its pivotal role in reducing the burden on hospitals and specialized medical centers, by providing approximately 75% of services to comprehensive health insurance beneficiaries, which contributes to Achieving optimal use of available resources and reducing costs on the new health system, as well as providing a safe healthy environment and distinguished medical services that are in line with the highest international quality levels. & Nbsp;

included the training program, Which lasted for 8 weeks, building the capabilities of 40 trainees & nbsp; through an integrated training content that depends on distinct interactive methods, focusing on effective application mechanisms for accreditation standards, using quality and performance measurement tools, and improvement methodologies to reach complete compatibility with standards requirements.

The program included the application of the trainees for applied improvement projects in eight units and initial care centers in the governorates of (Cairo, Giza, Gharbia, Alexandria, Al -Buhaira), which was coordinated in cooperation with Dr. Amr Qandil, Deputy Minister of Health and Population for Preventive Medicine and Basic Care, and Dr. Rasha Khadr, Head of the Basic Care Sector at the Ministry of Health and Population and was as follows:

1. Medical Center 100 m, Al -Shorouk Medical District, Cairo Governorate: A project to reduce the incidents of patients ’fall within health facilities.

2. Al -Khawala Medical Center, Al -Basateen Medical District, Cairo Governorate: A project for an improvement in the laboratory test safety program.

3. The Egyptian Gulf Medical Center, the Al -Quba Medical Gardens area, Cairo Governorate: A project to improve the process of defining patients.
4. Sheikh Zayed Medical Center, Sheikh Zayed Medical District, Giza Governorate: A project to improve the implementation of the laboratory safety program.
5. The Nabbaj Center Center, Tanta Thani Medical District, Gharbia Governorate: A project to improve compliance with the standard of time seized before procedures and surgical interventions. & Nbsp;
