100 thousand dirhams, financing for the team that won the “MIT Design X”

The Dubai Silicon Oasis and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in cooperation with “Global Ghurab Hib”, concluded the day of promotional performances of the Dubai MIT Design X design program.

The event celebrated the completion of a three -month intense training approach, under the supervision of the experts of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which included a series of workshops presented to the 10 innovative startups that formed the second batch of the program that was launched for the first time in September 2023, and it represents a Dubai version of a hook program International design (MIT Designx).

During the event, the award was delivered to the winning team «Themon», and the team represented by the financial manager, Matthias Vingler, and the co -founder, Johannes Ezel, was honored to make a leading progress in the technology of crystal, lehium and sulfur batteries, in the presence of the CEO of the Dubai Authority for Economic Zones, Dr. Mohamed Al -Zarouni, the Director General of Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dr. Jumaa Al -Matroushi, and Executive Director of the Design X program at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Gilad Roszwig.

The award included the team obtaining 100,000 dirhams as financing, and the opportunity to establish its business for a full year at the Dubai Technology Center for Entrepreneurship (Deek), the Technology Center and the major joint work area of ​​its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region, and one of the Dubai Silicon Oasis initiatives.
