Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Mr. George Babanastio, Minister of Energy, Trade and Cypriot Industry, and the Greek Minister of Environment and Energy Theodoros Skyakac, and Mr. Obongim Eckerbike Ikebo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas) in Nigeria, & nbsp; And the Yemeni Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Saeed Al -Shammasi, and Mrs. Laila Thabet Shaiboub, Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy in Tunisia. the minister explained The ministry’s strategy aims to benefit from the distinguished geographical location of Egypt, in addition to its advanced infrastructure, to enhance its role as a regional energy center and to be a center for the production of renewable and green energies, in addition to & nbsp; A center for petrochemical production. He pointed out that the fourth axis of the Ministry’s strategy supports this trend by diversifying the energy mix, increasing renewable energies and entering the fields of green hydrogen and its derivatives, which in turn leads to benefit from gas in economic aspects, stressing the importance of relying on all sources with a focus on the production of traditional fuel from oil and gas With environmentally responsible methods and with the least possible carbon emissions. ; The Cypriot Energy Minister, George Papanastio, stressed the importance of integration and partnership with Egypt, which has experiences, infrastructure and competitive advantages that help Cyprus to exploit its commercial gas wealth. He explained that Egypt and Cyprus have been in negotiations a while ago helped to reach these positive results of cooperation. The Cypriot Minister indicated that achieving energy transformation should take into account energy security and provide resources at a reasonable price and support and provide technology that helps to achieve this trend. The Greek Minister of Environment and Energy Theodoros Skyakakis reviewed the paths of working to secure the energy carried out by his country and establish an infrastructure & nbsp; For electricity and take advantage of its natural resources to be a state of electricity for the first time after it was imported, & nbsp; In addition to cooperating with Egypt and Cyprus, and the supply of liquefied gas to East European by taking advantage of the infrastructure in Greece, in addition to cooperating with Chevron Research and Exploration in Greece. For his part, the Yemeni Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Saeed Al -Shammasi, shed light on the elements of natural gas in Yemen with precautions of 20 trillion cubic feet and the infrastructure to export it through a port dedicated to exporting liquefied natural gas, explaining that the export stop comes due to the militia operations, stressing that we will return to normal life & nbsp; And that there are strategies we are working on to take advantage of Yemen’s capabilities. & Nbsp; The Minister of Petroleum Resources and Nigerian gas also reviewed his country’s plan to increase gas production and maximize it by expanding & nbsp; Infrastructure and gas lines networks, as it drew attention to the efforts of regional cooperation in the field of natural gas undertaken by Nigeria, and it also seeks to attract more investments. & Nbsp; Fatima Thabet Chaiboub, Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines in Tunisia, said that she has many ingredients such as the strategic location linking Africa and Europe as a country of transit and transportation of energy resources, the presence of strong partnerships with neighboring countries, the availability of human competencies, and policies to expand electricity production of renewable energy.
