Local development organizes a visit to African cadres for the headquarters of the National Network in Cairo Governorate and the Cloud Computing Center

The Ministry of Local Development organized a tour of the African cadres to visit the National Emergency and General Safety Center Center at the General Court of Cairo Governorate, followed by another visit to the Data Center and Cloud Computing P1 of the National Network to start the activities of the third day of the fourth edition of the training course for rehabilitation African cadres about & laquo; The role of localities in crisis and disaster management & raquo; And, which is organized by the Ministry in coordination with the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of 26 cadres in 22 African countries. Implementing field visits to the important projects of the Egyptian state, especially in the field of crisis management. Operating centers of control of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network and a number of leaders of the governorate, which emphasized the interest that Yta & nbsp; & nbsp; Connecting all elements of emergency and vital facilities through a main center and a specialized operating room in each governorate, using modern communications technology within the framework of a fully secure and secure network and according to the latest international standards.
For his part, Abdel Nasser Abdel Wahid, director of the National Network, reviewed In Cairo Governorate, the importance of the center and its role in improving the quality of relief and emergency services and reducing the time of response to accidents, and explained that the center works around the clock with the participation of all concerned parties such as ambulance, traffic, water, electricity, and civil protection, and cooperates with multiple parties through an operating room that includes representatives of 35 parties. African cadres Data Center and Cloud Computing (P1), and listened to a detailed explanation of the work of the center and its role in securing and protecting data, in addition to supporting artificial intelligence applications and analyzing huge data, as it has a prominent role in creating backup copies of many storage devices to avoid problems that cause Data loss, in times of power outages, as it is one of the largest data centers in the Middle East, and was created with Egyptian cadres in cooperation with specialized international companies in the field of cloud computing technology and data centers.
The center’s efforts were also reviewed in Enhancing the digital infrastructure of the state and digital transformation in the government and private sectors, in a way that contributes to improving services for citizens, and providing the necessary data for decision makers during crises, which helps them solve them as soon as possible, scientific and accurate, in addition to achieving Egypt’s vision of a comprehensive digital society.
The African cadres praised the advanced level of technologies used in Egypt, stressing that it is a leading experience in managing crisis and digital transformation, as they expressed their pride in the achievements that Egypt is witnessing under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, which enhances the aspirations of the peoples of the African continent towards achieving Sustainable Development, Africa Development Strategy and Agency 2063.
