A partnership between Midan "X" and" Mira Airbis" To develop high -rise flight tests
Abu Dhabi, February 19/ WAM/ X Square, the first international facility in the region for training, testing and evaluation within the defense, space and commercial fields, which is run by the company “Ramia”, today, was signed today a memorandum of understanding with the company “Mira Airbis” of the company “Space42”, to create Permanent testing center for drone flights at high altitudes and for long periods.
Under the memo, X will work as a major training, testing and evaluation facility for high -height platforms, which is affiliated with Mira Airbis, as it will provide a dedicated air field, ground experimental devices, and experiment planning.
Mira Airbis is a large solar -powered aerial platform designed to work in the stratosphere at an altitude of 13 to 20 km, which is much higher than the traditional air traffic and weather patterns effects.
The “Happy” platforms act as an effective cost of satellite, and provide long -term capabilities for communications, monitoring and environmental monitoring without the complications of space launch operations.
The Memorandum of Understanding, Haitham Awainat, the CEO of “Army”, and Khaled Al -Marzouki, CEO “Mira Airbis”, signed on the sidelines of the activities and conference of the International Defense Exhibition “IDEX 2025”, which is being held in Abu Dhabi.
Haitham Awainat said that this cooperation shows the commitment of X Square to support innovators and creators such as “Mira Airbis”, by providing a full set of modern facilities and services to test and evaluate their solutions, and thus accelerate their offering in the markets.
For his part, Khaled Al Marzouqi said that the establishment of a dedicated test center in Abu Dhabi is a strategic achievement for Mira Airbis, as we will allow us experience and infrastructure for X Square to conduct strict flight experiences, improve performance and enhance our high -height capabilities.
