Ryabkov told Russian media that a possible summit between Putin and Trump could include wide talks, on global issues, not only the war in Ukraine.
He added: “The question is how we start moving towards the normalization of relations between our two countries and reaching ways to solve the most severe situations, which are likely to be dangerous and they are many, including Ukraine.
He explained that the efforts to arrange this type of this kind are very fun, and that its implementation will require “a very intense preparatory work.”
Ryabkov added that the American and Russian envoys can meet during the next two weeks, to pave the way for more talks between senior officials.
American -Russian conversations
Diplomats of the two countries agreed to start action to end the war in Ukraine and improve diplomatic and economic relations.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the two sides have agreed widely to seek to achieve three goals, which are the restoration of employees at their embassies in Washington and Moscow.
He also pointed to the appointment of a high -level team to support peace talks in Ukraine, and to explore ways to document relations and economic cooperation.
