To review its capabilities, an American aircraft carrier arrives in South Korea

An American aircraft carrier arrived in South Korea on Sunday in a parade, days after North Korea conducting a cruise missile test to review its capabilities to face any attack.
The South Korean Navy said in a statement, that the arrival of the USS Carl Vinson and its offensive group to the South Korean Port aims to show the firm coalition between the American and South Korean armies in the face of the ongoing North Korean threats, and to support the possibility of the inter -operation of the common assets of the two countries.
The South Korean Navy added that this is the first time that an American aircraft carrier arrives in South Korea since last June.

North Korea’s anger

It is expected that the holding of the carrier will cause North Korea’s anger, which sees the deployment of such strong American military assets.

North Korea has responded to some previous publishing operations for American aircraft carriers, long -range launchers and nuclear submarines, through missile tests.

American hostility

Since his inauguration on January 20, US President Donald Trump has said he will communicate with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to resume diplomacy.
North Korea did not respond directly to Trump’s offer, but said that the US -led hostility against it had escalated since Trump’s inauguration.
