He added that the security forces responded strongly to the attack, and were able to eliminate all the attackers, including 4 suicide bombers, and 4 security men were killed.
The statement stated that the two car bombs exploded in the market adjacent to the military barracks, and their explosion led to severe destruction and resulted in the collapse of the ceiling of a mosque in that site, the killing of 13 civilians and the injury of 32 others.
