Abu Dhabi, March 5 / WAM / The Council of Muslim Elders, headed by His Excellency the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, welcomed the recommendations of the extraordinary Arab summit “Palestine Summit” hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt and confirmed the adoption of the Egyptian plan for the reconstruction of Gaza without displacement of the people of the Strip, and without prejudice to the constants of the Palestinian issue.
His Excellency Counselor Mohamed Abdel Salam, Secretary -General of the Council of Muslim Elders, expressed in a statement issued today about the support and support of the council for what came in the final statement of the summit from the decisions confirming that the Palestinian issue remains the central issue of the Arab world, and even the issue of all countries and peoples is the eagerness of peace, and rejected all attempts to prejudice the rights of the Palestinian people and work to continue the ceasefire in its second and third phases to a permanent ceasefire and the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from the Israeli occupation forces The Gaza Strip, including the Salah al -Din axis, “Vladelphia”, allowing the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid without any obstacles, and finding a just solution to the Palestinian issue.
He praised the recommendations of the summit calling for the necessity of implementing the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon with all its items, and asking the occupation to completely withdraw from Lebanon to the internationally recognized borders, and to stand with the Lebanese Republic, its security, stability and sovereignty, in addition to condemning the Israeli attacks on the Syrian Arab Republic and demanding the international community and the Security Council to move immediately to implement international law and obligate Israel to stop its aggression and withdraw from all Syrian lands.
He affirmed the support of the full Muslim Wise Council of the Arab and Islamic efforts aimed at finding a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, approving the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with its capital, Al -Quds Al -Sharif, and reject any attempts to displace the Palestinians and under any name, circumstance or justification and work to end the suffering of the Palestinian people who have been going on for more than 70 years, in a way that contributes to bringing peace and stability in the region and the world.
