"Archive and the National Library" School students are known as"Young historian"

Abu Dhabi, March 18 / WAM / The “Young Historian” award committee in the archive and the National Library organized virtual introductory meetings about the award at its 15th session, for students and teaching bodies that supervise research and schools that intend to participate in the award.
During the meetings, the goals of the award were reviewed to enhance the belonging to the homeland and loyalty to the wise leadership, and the national identity was established in the hearts of students, and their awareness of the importance of writing, documenting and monitoring the history of the United Arab Emirates throughout the ages; The outputs of their business are a source of pride, pride and inspiration.
Dr. Aisha Balhara, a research advisor at the Archive and the National Library, the Chairman of the Committee, said that the topics of the award are integrated with the curricula of national education and history that students receive on the study seats, stressing that the award of the young historian that contributes to preserving the history of the Emirates, its culture, heritage and its achievements, works to enhance the capabilities of students in the field of scientific research, enrich their knowledge of the history of the Emirates through the ages and its importance, and refine their skills And their competencies in academic writing, besides being an opportunity to discover talents.
She added that the last date for the delivery of business and research is on April 25, and that the award committee was able to reduce the bureaucracy by providing the feature of rapid response and electronic communication to download files.
For her part, Hind Al -Zahimi, a researcher in oral history, and the member scheduled in the organizing committee of the award, presented a definition of the mechanisms of participation and the conditions for accepting reports, research, oral interviews, student posts, and the arbitration standards of reports and candidate research and their evaluation.
Al -Zahmi reviewed the categories of the award that includes research related to oral history, geographical history, economic history, and social history, highlighted the exceptional award for posts that focus on innovative topics and solutions related to society, the innovative award that focuses on posts that depend on artificial intelligence and visual effects, and a video documentary award and what is meant by the posts that provide a movie or image or image A video story deals with a specific aspect in the history of the Emirates. The topics of the award for the second seminar were enumerated, including the national identity, Al -Sana, customs and traditions, heritage festivals, volunteer work, Emirati values and norms, societal interdependence, space science, Emirati women, and popular games.
She explained that the topics of the prize for the third academic episode include sustainability, tolerance, archaeological historical sites, access to Mars, artificial intelligence, stories and narratives about the founding fathers, Emirati discoverer, and the history of popular proverbs in the UAE.
Al -Zahimi stressed the importance of distinguishing the topic presented in terms of the title, the strength of the content, the safety of the presentation, the health of the style, the accuracy of historical facts, the analysis of the arguments presented, the quality of the language, the diversity of the sources and the good use of it, the use of the digital archive platform for the Arabian Gulf, which belongs to the archive and the national library, then the design and technical output, and commitment to the schedule.
