“Angels” the first gathering for patient friends in Taif

The Association of Friends of the Patients in Taif “Awoma” started exercising its tasks in serving the beneficiaries as the first association of this kind in the governorate, and the association aims to provide financial and in -kind support to the needy patients, provide care and medical supplies and medicine to patients, especially home medicine, and provide psychological and social consultations to patients and their families, improve the living environment for needy cases, provide accompanying and support services in hospitals, as well It also aims to enhance community participation by involving the local community and volunteers in the implementation activities, and raising the level of awareness of society about the rights of patients to everyone. According to its strategy, the association will work to build a transparent and sustainable financial and administrative system, develop workers and volunteers skills, diversify the sources of financing through partnerships, establish a healthy solidarity box, launch an electronic store to sell charitable products, investing endowments and property to provide sustainable income, providing medical programs that serve waiting lists in hospitals, launching regular campaigns to collect donations, establishing partnerships with Health Assembly, the Ministry of Health branch, health societies, educational institutions, and others to activate the association’s goals in a way that benefits the beneficiaries of its services.
