Data of the General Authority for Statistics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia revealed the volume of trade exchange between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia during the fourth quarter of 2024, as Bahrain’s exports to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounted to about 2.1 billion riyals, while Saudi exports to Bahrain amounted to 8.4 billion Saudi riyals.

The data indicated that the total number of Saudi imports from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries amounted to 18.3 billion riyals, and is matched by 39.5 billion riyals, the volume of Saudi exports to the countries of the Council.

The UAE came in the lead with 12.634.0 billion riyals, followed by Oman with 2.634.7 billion riyals, and Bahrain with 2.144.6 billion, while the Kingdom’s imports from Kuwait recorded 603.4 million riyals, and Qatar 337.2 million riyals.

The report issued by the authority confirmed that China is the main destination for the Kingdom’s exports, which constituted 14.7% of the total exports in the fourth quarter of 2024, followed by Japan with 9.8% of the total exports, then India with 9.6% of the total exports, and South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, the United States of America, Poland, Singapore and the Kingdom of Bahrain were. And Egypt is among the 10 most important countries exported, and the total exports of the Kingdom to those ten countries reached 68.4% of the total exports.

China is ranked first for the Kingdom’s imports, which constituted 25.6% of total imports in the fourth quarter of 2024, followed by the United States of America with 9.0% of the total imports, and the United Arab Emirates with 5.4% of the total imports, and both India, Germany, Japan, Italy, Egypt, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom were among the 10 most important countries that were imported, and reached The total value of the Kingdom’s imports from those ten countries is 66.1% of the total imports.
