Take American military decisions by applying a chat .. What is the story of Segel’s leaks?

A new crisis in which the White House entered, called Segel’s leaks, as a number of officials of the US President Donald Trump regime discussed secret military plans by implementing a chat.
An American journalist found himself, as a result of a mistake caused by a scandalous security breach, and he became a member of a group on the phone with a Segenal chat application that includes a number of senior officials in President Donald Trump’s administration, as he reviewed a very secret military plan to strike the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
In response to a question about this scandalous security breach that shook Washington on Monday, Trump said, “I do not know anything about this. I hear about you for the first time.”
The scandal exploded when the editor -in -chief of “The Atlantic” magazine, Jeffrey Goldberg, published an article in which he revealed that the Trump administration included it by mistake to a group of correspondence through the Segnal application, during which senior American officials discussed the details of a plan to launch air strikes against the Houthis.
The White House affirmed the health of what was reported by the editor -in -chief of the prestigious magazine, which Trump has a lot of hostility because of its criticism of his policies.

by mistake

“It appears at this time that the series of messages mentioned in the article is original, and we are investigating the way I add a number of error” to the chat group, “said Brian Hughes.
Later, the White House stressed that Trump is still supportive of his national security team.
“President Trump still fills confidence in his national security team, especially National Security Adviser Mike Walz,” presidential spokeswoman Caroline Levit said in a statement.
On the other hand, the democratic opposition rushed to pounce on the republican administration because of these dangerous leaks.
“He is one of the most amazed military intelligence leaks,” said Senate Democratic minority leader Chuck Schumer, calling for a “full investigation.”
The leak would have been very harmful if Goldberg published the details of the plan in advance, but he did not do it even after the raids began in March.
In his article, Goldberg said that “American national security leaders included me a collective conversation on the upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I did not think that might be real, and then the bombs began to fall.”

Goals, weapons and timing

He added that US Defense Minister Beit Higseth sent an information on the correspondence group on strikes, including “the goals and weapons that the United States will publish and the sequence of attacks.”
He continued, “According to the long message of Higseth, the first explosions in Yemen will be felt after two hours, at 1:45 pm East time,” which is soon confirmed on the ground in Yemen.
Goldberg said that the story started on March 11 on the initiative of Waltz, which he added to this group chat through the Segnal application, whose use is common between correspondents and politicians thanks to the secret he enjoys.
He explained that the correspondence group included a total of 18 very senior officials, including Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, Vice President Jay de Verse, Defense Minister Beit Higseth, and CIA head (CIA) John Ratcliffe.
According to Goldberg’s article, Vans said on March 14th through the correspondence group that launching these raids would be “wrong” because he hates “to save Europe again” because its countries are more affected by his country than the Houthi attacks on ships.
Commenting on the position of Vans, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and Defense Minister Beit Higseth said that Washington alone is able to carry out the task.

According to the article, the Vice President wrote, adding to the Minister of Defense, “If you think it is necessary, let him do it. I hate to help the Europeans again,” to answer Higseth, “I agree with you completely. I hate the behavior of the Europeans.
After the raids ended, the chat group members congratulated each other on the success of the process, using a large number of emoji “emoji”, according to the article.
In his article, Goldberg said, “I did not believe that the Presidential National Security Council will be a release to the extent that the editor -in -chief of Atlantic Magazine” was involved in this correspondence group.
For his part, the National Security Council spokesman said that this conversation “is evidence of deep and thoughtful coordination among senior officials.”
But the opposition was not shared by this opinion.

The biggest possible failure

Beit Potydjidge, the former minister and prominent figure of the Democratic Party, wrote on the “X” platform that “from a operating security perspective, this is the biggest possible failure.”
“These people are not able to maintain America’s security,” he added.
