"Finance" Humanitarian and societal initiatives are launched during the holy month of Ramadan

Abu Dhabi, March 26 / WAM / The Ministry of Finance organized four humanitarian and societal initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan, in the context of its commitment to social responsibility and volunteer work, and in line with the foundations of the “General Society 2025”, which establishes the values ​​of cohesion and solidarity between members of society, and enhances efforts to support the most needy groups and improve the quality of their lives.
Initiatives include “Al -Mir Al -Ramadan for Perforated Families”, “Supporting Humanitarian Cases”, “From Khair Zayed”, and “Your Aydita is upon us.”
His Excellency Younis Haji Al -Khoury, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, stressed that the societal initiatives implemented by the Ministry during the blessed month of Ramadan reflect its firm commitment to social responsibility, and the consolidation of the values ​​of giving and solidarity, which is an integral part of the UAE’s approach.
He explained that these initiatives are not limited to providing support to the most needy groups, but also extend to enhancing the culture of volunteer work and consolidating active partnerships between government agencies and the private sector, in a way that contributes to building a more crowning and sustainable society.
His Excellency added that these efforts are in line with the foundations of the year of society 2025, which aims to enhance social cohesion and activate the role of institutions in serving the community, noting that the Ministry of Finance is continuing to launch qualitative initiatives that cause a sustainable positive impact, and contributes to enabling the beneficiary groups and enhancing the quality of their life, within the framework of a comprehensive vision that reflects the values ​​of solidarity and humanity established by the rational leadership.
In its office in Abu Dhabi, the Ministry of Finance organized the “Al -Mir Al -Ramadan Movement Families” initiative, in cooperation with the Family Welfare Authority in Abu Dhabi and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and with the participation of more than 50 volunteers from the leadership and employees of the ministry, where food baskets containing basic materials were distributed to ensure meet the needs of the needy families and mitigate the financial burdens that they may face.
The Ministry also launched the “Humanitarian Support” initiative in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, which targeted the provision of support and humanitarian aid to satisfactory conditions, as the campaign aims to assist the most needy groups that go through compelling conditions and enable them to pay the costs of the necessary treatment requirements through effective participation from the Ministry’s employees and support these humanitarian cases.
In the context of the UAE celebration of Zayed Day for Humanitarian Action, which falls on the 19th of Ramadan every year, the Ministry of Finance launched the “from Khair Zayed” initiative in cooperation with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, as it targeted the provision of aid to more than 1500 people from the needy groups in society, inspired by the values ​​of giving and solidarity established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest. The initiative was to organize the fasting breakfast campaigns, as it targeted auxiliary workers.
The Ministry of Finance concluded its initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan with the “Your Eid on us” initiative, which was held in Dubai in cooperation with the Rashid Center for People of Determination, and the initiative targeted 50 of the owners of determination registered in the center, with the aim of introducing joy and pleasure on them during Eid Al -Fitr, and consolidating the values ​​of social solidarity and community participation.
