Community Development Department organizes societal sessions to enhance family ties

Abu Dhabi, March 28 / WAM / The Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, during the blessed month of Ramadan, for the second year in a row, organized a series of community dialogue sessions that focus on strengthening family ties and consolidating national identity and societal values, coinciding with the “Year of Society”.

The sessions, which came within the framework of the continuous efforts of the department to enhance societal communication and preserve the authentic Emirati values, aimed to provide a dialogue platform that brings together members of society with experts and specialists in multiple fields, as it discussed a number of important issues related to community development, support for family stability and promoting social fabric.

The sessions witnessed the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mughair Al -Khaili, head of the Community Development Department, and His Excellency Hamad Al -Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Community Development Department, in addition to a number of executives, department employees and members of the local community.

His Excellency Sheikha Al -Hosani, Executive Director of the Monitoring and Social Innovation Sector in the Department of Community Development, stressed that these sessions reflect the department’s keenness to provide a constructive dialogue environment that contributes to spreading awareness about the importance of building stable and balanced families, and enhancing the role of values ​​and cultural heritage in building the national identity in a way that ensures the sustainability of these values ​​for future generations.

The sessions hosted a group of leaders in social work and family guidance, in addition to a number of content makers in various related fields.

The first session, which was held at the Pulse of Al -Falah Center, under the title “The Year of Society and the Family – is discussed towards stability that enhances societal and sustainable cohesion”, the importance of building stable families and the role of community institutions in promoting this stability with a focus on guidance, family reform and financial planning as a tool for achieving family cohesion.

The department focused in its second session, entitled “Values ​​and inherited – the legacy of the ancestors and the immorality of generations” that were held in the house of Muhammad bin Khalifa – Al Ain, the importance of Emirati values ​​and cultural heritage in forming the national identity and the role of these values ​​in promoting societal cohesion in light of contemporary social and cultural transformations, and dealt with how to enhance the national identity of new generations and the role of the media and digital content in transferring these values ​​in a manner that is in line with aspirations Youth.

These dialogue sessions reflect the commitment of the Community Development Department to its pioneering role in enhancing societal awareness and consolidating the authentic Emirati values ​​by creating interactive platforms that allow the exchange of knowledge and experiences between specialists and society, as well as the importance of the continuation of these discussions to enhance societal partnership and build a coherent society capable of facing challenges while preserving its ancient cultural heritage.
