Mai Omar reveals the secrets of her dance scenes in Ish (video)

During her hosting on the “Al -Staya” program presented by the journalist Amr Adib on MBC Egypt, the artist Mai Omar revealed new details related to her training in dance, in addition to the fact that she used an alternative dancer in some scenes, in the series “Ish Ish”, which was shown last Ramadan.

Mai explained that this role requires her a special exercise to achieve the requirements of the dancer’s personality, as she revealed the preparations that she underwent in order to provide her role professionally, and she said: “Any role needs an exercise before him, for example, if an action role I need to exercise why, and I am going to the role of the dancer.”

She emphasized that the role was required a professional dancer, so she used an alternative dancer in some scenes that required very professional movements.

“I learned a lot of dance movements,” Mai added, noting that she worked with a group of professional coaches to be able to perform the role well. She explained that the selection of an alternative dancer came to meet the needs of the scenes that required professionalism that no beginner dancer can provide.

Regarding her dealing with the dancer Dina, who was sharing in the series, Mai confirmed that she loved her a lot, and she explained: “Dina offered me that she could teach me, but Dina was busy filming other scenes, and therefore she was not completely full -time for my training.”

She added that Dina was completely committed to her role in the series, as she presented the character of the dancer who retired, and her role was a great focus in performance.

The events of the series “Ish Ish” revolve around the character “Ish”, the girl who inherits her mother’s beauty and poverty, and finds herself forced to work as a dancer. She enters the Al -Gretli family by chance, to discover that her life is only an extension of the secrets buried in that family.
