Launching the third session of the “Emirates Prize for Entrepreneurship in the Labor Market”

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidency Bureau, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced the launch of the third session of the Emirates Entrepreneurial Prize in the Labor Market “2025, which is the first of its kind at the state level in honoring the leading and distinguished practices in the labor market at the level of private sector and workforce companies.
In its third session, the award witnessed an increase in the number of honorees to reach 98 winners instead of 84 winners who were honored in the second session, and the total value of the prizes was increased to reach 50 million dirhams instead of 37 million prizes in the previous session.
A sub -category has also been created within the “labor housing” with the aim of encouraging companies to adopt initiatives, practices and sustainable entertainment activities for their workers, especially in national occasions and holidays, which contributes to increasing productivity and promotes the positive values of workers and motivates them to social affiliation as productive individuals in a society that prevails in the values of compassion, loyalty and spirit of national unity in the light of compliance Laws that would preserve rights, achieve luxury and quality of life.
A beacon for excellence and leadership
The Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Emirates Prize for Entrepreneurship in the Labor Market, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al -Awar, thanked His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Bureau, for his generous and continuous sponsorship of the award since its inception, which strengthened its exceptional importance and to become a beacon of excellence and leadership in the labor market.
Al -Awar said: “The launch of the third session of the award comes in the light of the exceptional achievements achieved by the second session, to form a basic pillar of a renewed, more creative and distinctive launch of the award in a manner that establishes the approach of competitiveness in all areas of the labor market, and to reflect in its details all the standards of excellence, within the active governance standards that meet the requirements of transparency and integrity in its results.”
He pointed out that the development witnessed by the third session of the award comes within the framework of keenness on the sustainable development of the award in a manner that enhances its position and harmony with the standards of sustainability, excellence and innovation and its role in spreading a culture of distinguished practices, in parallel with keeping pace with the achievements achieved by the UAE labor market during the year 2024 and contributing to enhancing these achievements, especially those related to the export of the labor market for global labor markets in nine competitive indicators As well as the remarkable growth in the number of companies and workforce and other axes.
He called on companies and workforce in the private sector to present their leading and competitive achievements by participating effectively in the award to transfer their expertise and benefit from the leading new experiences in a way that enhances participatory and ease of business and stimulates the business sector to contribute to the development of the labor market system in the country.
Five major categories
The award includes five main categories, namely: the “companies” category and includes 40 winners, and is granted to companies that apply best practices for their human resources based on a number of criteria, the most important of which are, the criterion of employment, empowerment, and polarization of skills, the standard of work environment and the quality of the workforce, in addition to the standard of innovation and preparedness for the future, to achieve the highest level in adhering to the systems and standards of the work environment in various economic sectors.
The second category, which is the category of “distinguished workforce”, includes 30 winners, within three sub -categories, the first is “skilled workers” that include the workforce from high professional levels and is evaluated based on the criteria of achievement, learning, continuous development and societal responsibility, and the second is the category of “workers from other professional levels”, and the third is the category of “auxiliary workers”, where the winners are evaluated within the second and third categories Based on the reality of social responsibility and achievement, the participants are nominated by companies, society, employers and families.
10 winners will be honored within the third category of the award, which is the category of “labor housing” where it will be granted for the best investment in labor housing that apply the best standards in labor housing, while a sub -category has been created that grants its prize to companies that support and implement sustainable initiatives to raise the level of workforce and organize programs and entertainment activities for their workers, which enhances belonging and loyalty It reflects the spirit of national unity.
Three winners will also be honored within the fourth category of the award, which is the category of “business service partners” that are divided into three sub -categories: “Auxiliary Labor Recruitment Offices”, a prize that is awarded to the leading recruitment offices that apply best practices for employment and families dealing with them, and the second sub -category includes “employment agencies”, and is granted to leading employment agencies that apply best practices to attract qualified human competencies For the labor market, encouraging and motivating them, and includes the third sub -category “Business Service Centers”, a prize granted to leading business services centers that apply best practices that enable human cadres to provide distinguished services to the business sector in the country.
The fifth category, which is the “Special Honoring Class”, includes two categories, the first is the elite of companies and includes 12 companies that will be honored from their application distinct practices with a positive impact on the labor market, while the other category includes 3 honors of social influencers who contribute to the definition of the legislation and initiatives of the Emirati labor market.
Important awards
The award provides several benefits and advantages for the winners of its third session, where companies that won first place will be classified in the first category within the categories of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and consequently benefit from discounts on the Ministry’s services with a value of material savings of up to 1.2 million dirhams, while the second -place companies get the same advantages with a value of material saving up to one million dirhams, and the third -place companies get the same advantages with a value The companies that won the diamond classification in the ministry and their advantages include priority in completing transactions and addressing technical challenges and distinguished phone service.
As for the individuals awards, the first -place holder receives a cash prize of 100 thousand dirhams, and the second place receives a cash prize of 75 thousand dirhams, while the third place winner receives a cash prize of 50 thousand dirhams.
Those wishing to participate can submit candidacy applications through the website RIYADA.MOHRRE.GOV.AE until August 31, 2025.
The candidacy requests are subject to the evaluation of specialized committees in accordance with the standards of employment and empowerment, professional health and safety standards, the criterion of creativity and innovation, the standard for polarization of skills, the standard of labor and wages, the standard of social responsibility, and many comprehensive and integrated standards for each category, and based on the highest competitive standards, to choose the winners and honor them from a large ceremony organized by the ministry.
