The false allegations of the Port Sudan Authority are meager maneuvers to justify the rejection of peace efforts

The UAE expresses its categorical rejection of the false allegations and accusations stated in the statement issued by the Port Sudan Authority, which falsely claimed the UAE’s involvement in the conflict in Sudan, through alleged support for armed elements or elements.

The UAE confirms that these allegations, which lack any evidence, are meager, as they are meager media exercises aimed at distracting the responsibility of this direct authority to prolong this civil war, which spanned more than two years and thwarted all regional and international efforts to achieve peace in Sudan.

International mechanisms have already been confirmed, including the decision of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, which rejected the lawsuit filed by this authority against the UAE, as well as the final report of the Sudan expert team, issued on April 17, 2025, which did not include any conclusions or one evidence against the state. These documented data confirm the falsehood of repeated allegations and the absence of any legal or real basis for them.

The UAE confirms that the so -called Port Sudan power does not represent the legitimate government of Sudan and does not express the will of its noble people, and calls on the international community to intensify its efforts to support a political process led by civilians, away from the dominance of any of the two parties.

The UAE stresses that these allegations are nothing but an attempt to obstruct the path of peace, and to disavow moral, legal and humanitarian obligations towards ending the conflict, and opening the way for a transitional process that expresses the aspirations of the Sudanese people in security, stability and development.

The UAE renews its full commitment to supporting all international and regional efforts aimed at immediate ceasefire, protecting civilians, and holding the perpetrators of atrocities and violations whatever they were, and working with partners to find a comprehensive and sustainable solution that ends this devastating war, and guarantees a safe and stable future for Sudan and its brotherly people.
