This visit highlights the importance of trade relations between the two countries, as the volume of non -oil trade exchange between the UAE and India increased in 2023 to about 54.2 billion dollars, while the volume of trade between Dubai and India increased from 36.7 billion dollars in 2019 to 45.4 billion dollars in 2023, driven by an increase in both exports and imports.
The signing of the comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the United Arab Emirates and India in 2022 strengthened this upward path, which contributed to the sustainability of the momentum of trade throughout 2023.
The visit reflects His Highness’s keenness to extend bridges of communication with major global markets, exploring successful development models, and attracting qualitative partnerships that serve Dubai Economic targets, especially the Dubai Economic Agency D33, launched by His Highness at the beginning of the year 2023, aimed at doubling the size of Dubai’s economy during a decade, and consolidating its position among the best 3 economic cities in the world.
