8 new cities receive updated Emirates planes

Dubai, April 28 / WAM / Emirates Airlines announced the addition of a number of Boeing aircraft “777” and the updated “A380” A380 to eight additional cities in its network in the coming months.
The carrier will deploy the updated “A380” aircraft to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Nice and Birth, while the updated Boeing 777 “777” planes will be operated to Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, Bocket, and Frankfurt, in addition to another service with the updated Boeing “777” to Dublin.
The carrier continues to advance a remarkable pace in its program to update the fleet of its aircraft, as the Emirates Engineering Center team works around the clock to complete a full update for each wide -body plane at a rate of one plane every three weeks.
The carrier will later hand over this year its first long -range “A350” aircraft, which will start its first flights to Adelaide in Australia in early December.
Adnan Kazem, Vice President and CEO of Commercial Operations at Emirates Airlines, said that the recent expansion of the operation of updated Emirates aircraft from the Airbus “A380” and Boeing “777”, as well as the introduction of the new Airbus “A350” aircraft, represents an additional opportunity for customers in 70 vibrant cities and growing economies to try the latest booths and awards of the company’s “A350”. Double the efforts in implementing the update program that enhances the company’s status in providing excellent tourist class seats, and during the next two years, the company will continue to establish this leadership.
He added that the expansion of the excellent tourist class cabins will give Emirates Emirates Airlines a strategic competitive advantage, as it meets the increasing trend towards comfortable travel, and that the operation of the first “A350” aircraft to Adelaide reflects the importance of Australia as a major axis in the company’s network in the east, and confirms its commitment to providing the best possible travel experience on board our latest long -term aircraft.
By the end of 2025, Emirates Airlines is expected to receive 5 A350 aircraft for long -range flights, and these aircraft include 32 business classes, 28 seats in the excellent tourist class, and 238 seats in the Economy Class.
Since the launch of the aircraft update program in November 2022, Emirates Airlines has completed the update of 51 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, which is now serving 38 destinations around the world.
The carrier plans to fully update the entire interior compartments in 219 aircraft, including 110 “A380” and 109 Boeing 777 aircraft.
The comprehensive update program for Emirates Airlines, which is $ 5 billion in investments, is the largest of its kind in terms of scope and size.
The program is being implemented with high accuracy by the Emirates Engineering Center team, where more than 270 engineers and technicians work around the clock, and they allocate more than 1,800 working hours a day to complete the update of each plane.
The update of the A380 Airbus takes about 22 days, while the Boeing 777 needs about 18 days.
Each month, they are fully renovated, to use a new destination or to enhance the current operations with updated planes.
