Al Wasl and Sharjah Sports Women are crowned with the Emirates Athletics Cup
Abu Dhabi, April 28 / WAM / Al -Wasl team won the Public Category in the Emirates Athletics Cup with 10 medals (8 golds, silver, and bronze), while Sharjah Sports Women Club crowned women’s title with 7 medals (4 golds, two silver, and bronze).
The tournament was held for three days at the Military Sports Division Stadium in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 712 players, and included various competitions in races, jumping, throwing and sequence.
The Abu Dhabi Club won the title of Cubs (Benin) with 5 golds, while victory won the youth and young men with 6 golds for each category, and Sharjah Sports for Women issued the Cubs category (Girls) with 9 golds, and Abu Dhabi won the young women and young women with 3 and 6 golds respectively.
The competitions witnessed the winners of Major General Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Al -Murr, President of the Emirates Athletics Federation, Suhail Al -Arifi, and Ahmed Al -Musabi from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
Al -Murr confirmed that the tournament concluded a successful season that contributed to developing the level of players and players, praising the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Military Sports Division.
