The Ministry of Industry launches a national campaign under the umbrella of “Made in the Emirates” that includes a package of privileges for manufacturers

Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al -Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, witnessed the launch of a strategic partnership to support national products under the umbrella of “Made in the Emirates”, which will include the promotion of products at the state level led by the ministry and with the participation of nine bodies that include major retail and electronic platform institutions.
The campaign aims to enhance the position of locally manufactured products in the sales and electronic platforms of ADNOC Distribution, Nun, Tredling, Grandius, Talabat, Carrefour, Lulu Retail, Cooperative Union, and Spinens.
This initiative includes an annual promotional campaign in cooperation with the most prominent sales outlets and digital trade platforms in the country, where the partners presented a package of incentives supporting the participating manufacturers, including allocating spaces to display products on applications and websites, and providing custom shelves in the outlets, as well as providing training and qualification programs for manufacturers, and exemptions from fees during the campaign period, in addition to free ads Through digital platforms. New manufacturers receive additional privileges that include the establishment of free electronic stores, exemption from storage fees and logistical services for a period of up to three months, in addition to support in registration of products with the competent authorities, and assistance in promoting via social media.
For this purpose, the Ministry of Industry and Technology has concluded a memorandum of understanding with the participating authorities signed by the ministry Omar Al -Suwaidi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry, as well as senior executives from the participating authorities, namely, Eng. Badr Al -Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Distribution Company, Mansour Al Ghurair, CEO of the Noun platform, and Mohamed Al Hashemi, CEO of Al -Ittihad Cooperative Societies, Gonten Heimal, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Retail Company, Musab Aboud Grandius CEO, Savi Robawala, CEO of Lulu Retail Company, Pedrom Asadi, Commercial CEO of Talaat Company, CEO Kumar, Executive Manager, Spinens, and Alastir Crocker, CEO of Terling platform.
Omar Al -Suwaidi stressed that the launch of the campaign comes within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance cooperation with industrial companies and suppliers in the country, to create an attractive business environment for local and international investors and entrepreneurs, and to enhance the competitiveness of national industrial companies under the umbrella of “Made in the Emirates”.
He added that cooperation between the ministry and companies reflects the keenness to promote national products, as the campaign will contribute to enhancing consumer awareness of the quality of Emirati products to become the first consumer option, as well as in line with the Ministry’s initiatives in conjunction with the “Year of Society 2025”.
Engineer Badr Saeed Al -Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Distribution Company, expressed ADNOC pride for distribution with active participation in the promotional campaign led by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and stressed that this step is a strategic partnership between the public and private sectors to support the national product and enhance its position in the local markets and said: “Our participation comes as an affirmation of our firm commitment to support the local manufacturers by providing a group of incentives And the advantages, which include allocating distinctive spaces for displaying Emirati products in ADNOC Oasis for Distribution.
For his part, Mohamed Al -Hashemi, CEO of the Union Cooperation, said that our cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Technology advanced in the “Make in the Emirates” campaign to support national products with sales outlets and e -commerce platforms, supports coordination and integration efforts to enhance the competitiveness of the national product, empower the national economy, and build an integrated industrial and commercial system, capable of competing globally, and every dirham spends on the national product is an investment in Our economy and society.

For his part, Ghassan Abboud, Chairman of the group that owns Grandius, said that our partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in the framework of the campaign through which we support national products through the Grandius stores chain and added: “The partnership reflects our commitment to supporting high -quality products locally produced and effectively promoting Emirati products and focus on promoting the presence of Emirati products to contribute to business growth and support manufacturers Emiratis.
Seify Roballa, CEO – Lulu Retail Holding, stressed that the partnership with the ministry aims to support and promote local manufacturing and said that through this partnership, we aim to expand and promote locally made products in our stores, and to enable local companies and young entrepreneurs.
Pedram Asi, the CEO of Operations on the Talabat platform, expressed his happiness in cooperation with the Ministry in the campaign, and said: “As a platform on demand, we affirm in (requests) our commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and local companies, and helping them to grow and prosper, especially through the development and support of a distinguished group of local products on our platform.”
In addition, Sonl Kumar, CEO of Spences, said that cooperation with the national campaign is targeting the support of talents in the country and supporting the development of local companies and we are committed to promoting manufactured products in the UAE by supporting producers.

It should be noted that this promotional campaign continues throughout May, and comes in line with the ongoing preparations for the launch of the fourth session of “Made in the Emirates”, which is held at the “ADNEC” center Abu Dhabi during the period from 19 to 22 May.
The event is one of the most prominent national platforms for the promotion of industrial investment in the country, and it brings together a group of manufacturers, investors and strategic partners from the public and private sectors.
