The revival of the Creativity Award came to return to a new suit, after a 16 -year hiatus, to confirm the importance of finding incentives that push young people to excellence in the media field starting from the academic stage, where the award is concerned with students and students of Arab media throughout the region and the world, and it is granted to the outstanding people with creative energies and the ability to be creative in various fields of media work.
The ninth session of the Arab Youth Media Award “Emaa” comes in its new form as an extension of the “Creativity” award for media students, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in 2001, as a platform aimed at discovering distinguished competencies between Arab media schools, and giving Arab Arab media institutions the opportunity to benefit from those competencies to be a bridge that connects the academic and vocational aspects in the media field and contributes to discovering the best elements The creator is one of the young people who specialized in studying the media in its various branches.
It is scheduled to honor the winners of the “Creativity” awards during the first day of the activities of the “Arab Media Summit 2025”, which Dubai Press Club organizes during the period from 26 to 28 May 2025, with the summit attracting a group of the most important political symbols, intellectual stature and media leaders in the region and the world.
The announcement of the organization of the Creativity Award again was widely welcomed in the academic circles, whether local or Arab, and positive reactions by the Daris of Media Sciences, in the UAE and the various Arab countries, who expressed their appreciation for Dubai’s contributions in supporting the media sector starting from the academic stage, and the idea of ​​the award and what it seeks to stimulate creativity in various media fields, with the creation of categories that keep pace with the great development in the fields of media in the light of progress Technology and its welcoming spaces for creativity in the media.
Hassan Al -Dhanhani, a student at the United Arab Emirates University, specializing in public communication, considered the “Creativity” prize a podium that gives media students a real opportunity to highlight their talents and develop their media skills in an inspiring competitive environment, and he said: “Look at my participation in this award as an important addition, as the award enables us to convert what we theoretically learned to practical applications that contribute to refining our experiences and enhances our confidence as practitioners in this The field.
Salama Al Shamsi, a student of mass communication, at the United Arab Emirates University, expressed her pride in participating in the Creativity Award, and expressed her wish to be one of the honored students, and said: “The Media Award for Arab Youth is a distinctive opportunity to highlight the energies of youth and their creativity in the various fields of media, as it is a platform that enhances the role of the media by discovering promising talents. From the Tunisian Republic, Samah bint Ahmed Grsli, a student at the Institute of Journalism and News, said that she learned of the creativity award through social media platforms, and a colleague had published her on her page, so she encouraged to participate in it and send her work, especially since such opportunities represented in encouraging students to creativity and production are few in the Arab world.
Nahila Boussa, a student at the Higher Institute of Media and Communication, in Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco, stressed the importance of digital platforms in the media world today, and said that she learned of an award for creativity through one of the most prominent of these platforms, noting that “creativity” came in keeping with the rapid development in the media world, by including groups that take into account specializations that young people today accept her studies.
