Not employing people with creative ideas is my biggest mistake

The businessman, Muhammad al -Abbar, said that the lack of employment of people with creative ideas was his biggest mistake in the beginnings of his career.

Al -Abar reviewed during a dialogue session within the Montenegro Investment Conference, which was recently held, the beginnings of his life and dreams, saying: “When I started my work, my first concern was to collect a fortune, because I wanted to build a house and buy a car, and I save some money .. It was difficult at the beginning, but God gave me a lot, and on this basis my life changed, so I gathered a fortune, then I realized that I should think about the development Economy, to change people’s lives, and to provide a happy reality. ”

Al -Abbar touched on the works he founded and managed, and he said: “I have projects worth $ 55 billion in 18 countries, and this number will become within six months 60 billion dollars, and I own 90 hotels around the world, while the number of people who employ them reaches 200 thousand people, and if we take into account the families that these people support, the beneficiary number will be about 800 thousand people.”

He added: “In my company in Egypt, I have 12 local investors working with me, some of them are members of the company’s board of directors, and they can see any contract, and they monitor sales and bids, and in Dubai I have 52 thousand people, I mentioned all this because I want to stimulate local businessmen, and if we work with each other, we can have projects and develop them, and to share the local community.” Al -Abbar pointed out that he does not talk about the money spent on the projects, but he talks about what he described as the “beautiful life” resulting from these projects, considering that it is a “gift from God.”

During the session, Al -Abar stressed the importance of the media to provide non -criticisms, revealing the plans and ideas that he intends to do, saying: “Before I start any project, I study first whether the project is good or not, and I want to create a business fund to help young people start their own projects, and I seek to establish a local technology university.”

Al -Abbar touched on his platform for e -commerce «Nun», saying: “I manage the best technology companies in the Middle East, and we compete with (Amazon).

Al -Abbar reviewed his experience in life, and the mistakes he committed in the career of his career and practical life, and he said: “My biggest mistake is that at the beginning of my life I could not get people with creative ideas to manage my work, which cost me a lot of delay in my work, some people advise me to seek the best cadres, and today I spend 90% of my time to search for people who have bright ideas.”

He continued: «As for the second mistake, it is that I invested at the wrong time in the United States in 2005, and lost 1.5 billion dollars.

In response to a question about the mistakes he made in Montenegro, Al -Abbar said: “I made mistakes in Albania, and in Serbia. In Albania there was a hurry in construction, and that was a mistake from me, and in Montenegro I did not participate in developing the beach.”

Al -Abar saw that he is a lucky person because of Dubai, and he said: “I feel lucky, because I was born in a successful country that helped me achieve success, and I mean that Dubai, it is a small city with no oil, but its flight today has become number (1) in the world, and it has the best banking services in the world, the best health care in the world, and the best education, and our airport deals with 95 million visitors.”

He continued: “My company is currently able to make a net profit of four billion dollars annually.”
