“Energy” launches “we are your support” to support senior citizens and residents

The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure announced the launch of an innovative package of qualitative initiatives under the title “We are your support”, based on its commitment to upgrading the quality of the lives of senior citizens and residents, and with the aim of providing exceptional and integrated services that establish the position of this category, and supports its stability and welfare.

The initiative, which comes within the framework of the “General Society”, includes a comprehensive set of basic services, the most prominent of which is the launch of the national guide for the specifications of the housing of senior citizens, and the provision of free housing designs through the “Dark” platform, as well as providing voluntary engineering consultations in the fields of energy and electricity, design and construction within the “Aouna” initiative.

The Ministry allocated a group of competent and experienced employees as permanent advisers to senior citizens and residents in service centers, in the Emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, where consultants are distinguished by human communication skills, mastery of the local dialect, and the ability to deal with exceptional cases with all professionalism and attention.

The initiative sponsors the various lifestyles between men and women from senior citizens and residents, where flexible and personal solutions have been allocated to women, including launching the “Lyn Babik” service that allows the deal to complete its treatment from her home, without the need to move, in consideration of privacy and comfort, while for men it has been enhanced by ease Completely accomplished.

The initiative also included the launch of the “golden counter” for senior citizens and residents in service centers, which gives full priority in completing transactions, in addition to providing introductory workshops for the elderly on the use of digital services, and providing direct support when needed.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure for Energy and Petroleum Affairs, Eng. Sherif Al -Alami, stressed that this initiative comes within the framework of the rational leadership’s directives to enhance the quality of life for all segments of society, led by senior citizens and residents.

He said: “We believe that the service of the elderly is not only a duty, but an honor and gratitude for a generation of shares in building the country.” He pointed out that the “We Support” initiative was designed to be a model in empowerment and care, by providing an exceptional service experience that rises to the level of appreciation they deserve, and is in line with the principles of the Emirates government in providing humanitarian, personal and proactive services.

He stressed that the ministry continues to develop its services according to the highest standards, putting on the top of its priorities to whistle the bureaucracy, and to provide a smart and smooth humanitarian customer experience.
