Dubai Roads organizes an artificial intelligence exhibition and adopts international best practices

The Roads and Communications Authority organized the artificial intelligence exhibition with the aim of supporting the “Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2030”, which was launched last April within the activities of “Dubai AI Week” by involving and motivating employees and strategic partners.
This exhibition comes as an affirmation of the central role of artificial intelligence in improving the provision of services, developing and managing integrated and sustainable transport systems, in addition to adopting international best practices and standards, in line with the authority’s vision and mission in achieving global leadership in easy and sustainable movement.
The exhibition was held over a week at the headquarters of the authority, and included an interactive platform that reviewed innovative and attractive methods 11 initiatives distributed on the six axes.
Various initiatives
Among the initiatives presented by the relevant departments in the authority is the initiative “Bus Dail Support System: Control and Operation Center”, as a platform that relies on artificial intelligence to analyze calls registered between drivers and the control center, through monitoring behavior and analysis of call content, with the aim of assessing the quality of communication and improving the speed of follow -up, and the initiative of “Water and Electricity Consumption Pads in Dubai Metro”, through analysis and follow -up to consumption of consumption Resources proactive, which enhances sustainability, operational efficiency and economic feasibility.
In addition, the authority reviewed the “My City” initiative available via the “WhatsApp” application, which is a service supported by artificial intelligence that enables users to report any damage to public transportation assets using the computer vision and obstetric artificial intelligence, where the system automatically identifies the communications, classifies and directs them to take the appropriate action immediately, and the initiative of the “smart evaluation of the infrastructure of paths Bicycles “, through new global indicators to measure driving comfort, pathway and facilities efficiency, with the aim of making the driving experience safer and enjoyable for the public.
The initiatives also dealt with, “the smart evaluation system for road assets using the LED technology”, which depends on the latest technologies of survey and digital photography where artificial intelligence analyzes data and defines maintenance priorities and talks about the digital database, and the “Smart Management Management Management” initiative, at the Dubai Center for Smart Traffic Systems, where the system collects data instantaneously from sensors and analyzes them to manage traffic signals efficiently and improve Traffic flow.
The platform also reviewed the initiative: “The Bus Network Management with Artificial Intelligence”, by analyzing the data of the public bus networks and the data of the means of transportation, which helps the pathways to improve the current bus tracks and suggest new paths, to raise the efficiency of the system, improve performance and reduce costs, in addition to “Coach monitoring system “which relies on continuous monitoring and instant analyzes to monitor coach behaviors within driving education vehicles, through custom cameras that are installed in vehicles, with the aim of improving the quality of training and promoting traffic safety.
The exhibition also dealt with the “Packet Prediction Predicting System” initiative using historical data for numbers auctions to predict future auction revenues, through algorithms enhanced by automatic learning technologies that analyze previous auctions and market orientations, and the “Microsoft Copylot operations” initiative, an artificial intelligence assistant is designed to help employees to automate tasks and raise efficiency Performance, and the initiative of “Public Transport Stations using Artificial Intelligence”, which provides effective and proactive solutions to managing crowds through instantaneous stations monitoring systems and analyzing crowd density and movement patterns, which improves movement flow while reducing waiting time.
Sessions and discussion episodes
The artificial intelligence exhibition in the authority organized sessions, discussions and presentations from the team’s teams and strategic partners, which dealt with global trends in artificial intelligence, investing transformational capabilities in it, its applications in the areas of movement and smart cities, and its impact on the foresight of the future. The exhibition also included specialized training programs for all employees on the employment of artificial intelligence in raising productivity, participated in the provision of specialized experts from the authority and its strategic partners..
The week included the “Hackathon AI”, a three -day creative competition, in which the staff of the authority participated, and competed to explore innovative ideas and solutions that contribute to strengthening the sustainable movement using artificial intelligence techniques, and the ability to benefit from them and apply them realistic, as the last day of the week witnessed honoring the winning teams in the hacathon.
Mohamed Youssef Al -Mashreb, Executive Director of Institutional Technical Support Services, and CEO of Artificial Intelligence in the Roads and Transport Authority said: “The organization’s organization of the Artificial Intelligence Exhibition comes to continue its efforts in strengthening the activities and events held at the Dubai AI Agency last April, which was directed by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and President of the Executive Council in Dubai, and organized by the Dubai Center for the Uses of Artificial Intelligence of the Dubai Foundation for the future.”
He added: “The exhibition focuses on the involvement and motivation of strategic employees and partners to adopt cases of artificial intelligence and expand the scope of benefiting from them in the services of the authority. He also pointed out that these activities aim to develop human capabilities to lead an interconnected artificial intelligence system, and to achieve leadership in smart transformation, in addition to promoting institutional governance, and raising the technical readiness to keep pace with the accelerated developments in this The field.
It is noteworthy that the Roads and Communications Authority launched last April “AI 2030”, through which it aims to enhance the global leadership of the authority in the field of mobility enhanced by artificial intelligence, through an integrated and interconnected system that contributes to upgrading the quality of life in Dubai, including 81 projects and initiative.
