The Ministry of Social Development signs a cooperation agreement to develop an integrated electronic system that supports the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain

In a move that reflects the constructive partnership between the governmental and private sectors, the Ministry of Social Development signed a cooperation agreement with the National Bank of Bahrain and the Step Company for electronic solutions, in order to develop an integrated electronic system that contributes to supporting and developing the services of civil organizations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The agreement was signed in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Saleh Al -Alawi, Minister of Social Development, and Mr. Othman Ahmed, CEO of the National Bank of Bahrain Group.

The agreement was signed by the Ministry of Social Development His Excellency Mr. Ziyad Darwish, Undersecretary, and by the National Bank of Bahrain, Mr. Hisham Abu Al -Fateh, CEO of institutional communications, and on the part of Aytaf Electronic Solutions Company, Mr. Obaidli Al -Obaidli, the general manager of the company, which will undertake the implementation of the project in terms of coordination with the ministry.

On this occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Social Development stressed that this agreement represents a practical model of integration between official authorities and leading national institutions, in a way that contributes to enhancing the efficiency of civil work, and enabling civil organizations to perform their societal role more effectively.

His Excellency also expressed great thanks and appreciation to the National Bank of Bahrain for its support for this project, and the keenness it shows to contribute to social development efforts through responsible and effective partnerships.

This cooperation comes with the support of the National Bank of Bahrain, as part of its continuous commitment to its societal responsibility, and its keenness to enable initiatives that enhance the paths of sustainable development in the Kingdom.

The project aims to develop a comprehensive digital system that enables civil societies and institutions to take advantage of the Ministry’s services in an easy and effective manner, through automation of procedures, facilitating transactions, and enhancing levels of transparency and speed of completion.
