Health denies the death of 5 children in Minya due to epidemic diseases

The Ministry of Health and Population confirms that it has followed a careful follow -up of the death of 5 children from the village of Delja in the Der Mawas Center in Minya Governorate, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, where the preventive and public health sector received a report from the Directorate of Health Affairs in the governorate, and the accident was dealt with with transparency and speed. Accurate, visiting hospitals and health units included reviewing patients’ records, analyzing reporting data reporting, and visiting the house of children and neighboring homes, the ministry confirmed that there is no increase in the rates of infectious diseases in Minya Governorate or in the village of Delja, and no infectious diseases were recorded between the father, mother, second wife, daughter, or any of the relatives or families surrounding. The ministry is that the results of laboratory analyzes of blood, urine and infallible fluid, which were conducted in the central laboratories of public health, have proven free of cases of any infectious diseases, including viral or bacterial meningitis, and the analysis of water samples from the house of cases showed their conformity with the specifications, and the investigation authorities are currently investigating the non -satisfactory causes of death, and the ministry confirms that the general health situation in the region is stable and there is no A threat to epidemic or infectious diseases.
