“Caldin” signed a memorandum of understanding with the presidency of Turkish defense industries “SSB”, the supreme government agency responsible for organizing and developing the defense industries sector in Türkiye. The Memorandum of Understanding stipulates the participation of the EYDEP program database – which is supervised by the Presidency of Turkish Defense Industries – with the Calder company in relation to supply and future purchases in Turkey in addition to supporting the finding of two alternative suppliers for “Kaldd” from Turkey, as well as continuing to fund the program for the obligations of developing future businesses of the company. The program is a basic gateway to integrate qualified companies into defensive supply chains, and to ensure the compatibility of their performance with the requirements and standards adopted in Turkey and is concerned with evaluating and supporting industrial competencies of companies operating in the defense, security, aviation and space sectors in order to increase their efficiency in line with Emiratisation policies and the level of their readiness to develop technology.

Another “Caller” memorandum also signed a specialized memorandum with “CTEC”, mainly in providing satellite communication solutions, data links in the defense, space, drone sectors, and communications. The memo aims to determine the framework of the strategic partnership between the two parties, according to which the two sides intend to explore opportunities to identify, develop and implement cooperative projects in the field of satellite communications and data links for air and land defense systems, and implement joint activities to develop products and businesses in addition to implementing initiatives related to related technologies with market research and joint research and development studies.

His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Murad Al -Balushi, Managing Director and CEO of the Kalddd Holding Group stressed that the group’s participation within the national pavilion of the UAE in the exhibition achieved its goals by all standards, especially with regard to promoting cooperation in the field of defense industries, exchanging experiences, and concluding partnerships with international companies and institutions, as well as presenting the capabilities and technological innovations that reflect the progress of the Emirati defense industry, and enhance its presence in international forums.
