70.5 percent of the youth of the total employees of the Federal Tax Authority

Abu Dhabi, August 12 / WAM / Young people constitute 70.5% of the total employees of the Federal Tax Authority, 87% of them are citizens, and this embodies the strategic commitment of the authority to empower young people and invest their energies to be active partners in leading the future.

The authority said in a statement issued today on the occasion of the International Youth Day, that females constitute 56% of young cadres, which reflects the influential presence of Emirati women and their active contribution in various fields of work within the authority, in line with the state’s directions in promoting gender balance and building a comprehensive and stimulating work environment.

The authority’s statistics also showed that young people occupy 33% of supervisory and leadership jobs, and make up 80% of specialized jobs, and 81% of tax jobs, while 84% of them carry a university qualification or higher, and these numbers confirm that the authority is not only attracting young competencies, but also enables them to decision -making sites and provides them with knowledge and skills that enhance their role in Innovation and the development of institutional performance, keeping pace with the UAE’s vision in preparing a leadership generation capable of facing future challenges and making new opportunities for development. On this occasion, His Excellency Khaled Al -Bustani, Director General of the Federal Tax Authority, affirmed that the authority’s keenness to provide an inspiring work environment that embraces the energies of youth, gives them continuous training opportunities and developing skills, and participating in the formulation of initiatives and strategic projects, in a way that keeps pace with the vision of the rational leadership in empowering young people and preparing them to lead the future.

Al -Bustani said that achieving these high proportions of representing young people in the authority came as a result of a clear strategy based on attracting qualified young competencies and developing their skills, and enabling them to take leadership and specialized tasks that contribute to raising the efficiency of institutional work, as the authority is committed to continuing to invest in their capabilities, and providing them with tools and opportunities that help them to innovate and provide added value for government work.
