“Smile” is preparing to launch the twelfth edition of the “Our Children’s Campaign” campaign

The “Smile” initiative, which is affiliated with the Future Future Association, concerned with providing psychological and social support for children with cancer patients and their parents in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the start of preparations to launch its annual awareness campaign “Our Children like gold” in its twelfth edition, during the month of September, in order to commit with the global movement to raise awareness of this disease.
The initiative started its preparations for this copy by holding an expanded coordination meeting that included its members and a group of strategic partners, with the aim of developing an innovative work plan based on the successes achieved by the campaign in the past years, and the meeting included fruitful discussions on how to enhance the impact of the campaign; The focus was on expanding partnerships with new parties, and developing innovative mechanisms to spread awareness of childhood cancer.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Mr. Sabah Abdel Rahman Al -Zayani, confirmed that the twelfth edition of the campaign is an important station to celebrate the legacy that a “smile” for more than a decade, indicating that this version will not only spread awareness, but also honors the great efforts made by volunteers, partners and supporters over the past years, and that the initiative will provide reliable and simplified information on the audience Support children on their therapeutic journey, focusing on the importance of the mental health of patients and their families, which makes the campaign a source of accurate and useful information.
Al -Zayani also pointed out that the twelfth edition of the campaign will include innovative and unconventional activities, with a focus on the use of social media platforms in a more effective way to reach a broader audience, adding that the goal is based on previous successes, while seeking to create a deeper and more comprehensive impact in Bahraini society, by strengthening partnerships with various governmental and private agencies.
It is worth noting that the campaign “Our Children Like Gold” in its eleventh edition was widely successful through innovative ideas and various events that included it, and witnessed a great interaction from different groups of Bahraini society, as it celebrated more than 45 children who were recovered from cancer, and the initiative aspires in the twelfth version to continue this success, and to provide a more distinctive and influential experience at the local and humanitarian levels.
