Selena Gomez on Taylor Swift: When my close friend is engaged
Gomez republished the engagement photos via her Instagram account, and attached her to an influential comment: “When my close friend is engaged.”
She also published pictures entitled “After 16 years” that included footage of her engagement from the music producer Benniko, along with pictures of Swift’s engagement, in addition to an old Swift tweet dating back to 2009, saying: “True love sometimes happens. It is not just something that we create at the age of nine. I have to believe that. And you also believe him.”
This close interconnection between the two stars was not new, as Swift had already appeared as she announced her support for Gomez’s engagement last year, saying: “Yes, I will be the girl of flowers.” Blanco also revealed in an interview with the Hot Ones program that Gomez made him “obsessed with Swift” because of their friendship.
These simultaneous engagement was a distinguished emotional moment in the march of the two stars, which were brought together with a strong friendship that lasted for more than 16 years.
