30%.. One exercise session may slow breast cancer growth

A recent Australian study revealed that one session of exercise, whether resistance such as weightlifting or high -density intermittent exercise (HIIT), can slow breast cancer growth.

The study conducted by the University of Edith Kuan, included 32 women who survived breast cancer, where blood samples were taken from them before the exercise, immediately after it, and after 30 minutes.

Results
– The levels of “micoinate” proteins increased by 47% after exercises.
These muscle -secreted proteins play a role in promoting immunity, reducing infections, and metabolism.
The researchers suggested that this increase slows the growth of cancer cells by 20% and 30%.

The most prominent discoveries were in the IL-6 protein, which increased dramatically after HIit, while resistance exercises showed a rise in the “decor” protein.

The researchers emphasized that the exercises may not be limited to prevention only, but also help in preventing the return or development of cancer, which makes physical activity an important part of the treatment and health support for patients and survivors.
