23 people were killed in Mexico due to heavy rains

At least 23 people were killed in Heavy rain in 31 states out of 32, with the states of Veracruz in the east, Queretaro and Hidalgo in the center, and San Luis Potosi in the central north of the country, identified as the most affected areas.
Deaths and missing persons
16 deaths were recorded in Hidalgo, in addition to 1,000 homes being damaged, five deaths and 11 people missing in the state of Puebla, and one died. A boy in the state of Veracruz and a police officer in Queretaro.
President Claudia Sheinbaum wrote on the X platform after holding meetings with local officials and members of her government. "We are working to support residents, reopen roads, and restore electricity"
The Mexican army announced that it would work to distribute aid in the affected areas.
