Africa: 50 armed conflicts and 35 million displaced people amid a decline in humanitarian funding
The Vice-President of the International Committee expressed About 35 million people have been displaced, while humanitarian organizations face a severe funding crisis as a result of the decline in international aid, especially from the United States and European Union countries.
Carbonnier pointed out that Sudan is experiencing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world with the collapse of the health system and the spread of epidemics, in addition to renewed violence in Somalia and eastern Democratic Congo.
